I recently went to the United States for the first time (October 29 to November 18, 2000). It was a wonderful experience. Travelling and seeing other places always broadens one's horizons, and it has done that to me. It was also an emotional experience, and I was able to look inside myself and find out what exactly I want to do with my life, which direction I want to take... being able to find my cousin whom I haven't seen in at least five years, spending 2 weeks with Sandy and Nelson, two of my very best friends, seeing New York, and being away from my usual problems. Below are some of my pics, most of them were taken in New York, because that is where I was able to do most of my sightseeing. I was also at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX, where I helped my friend Myrl man her booth there. Unfortunately, the last roll of film was lost... so I lost my pics when I was at the Statue of Liberty :-( Now I have to go back and take new ones LOL

These are also my most recent pics, so to my friends, here they are! Thank you to Gene, Sandy, Myrl, Cathy, and my family. Without you I would never have been able to go there. Thank you Badjick, Elizabeth, and my cousin Ritchie, for spending their precious time with me. I hope to see you again soon! Thanks to my girls Meriam, Charis and Malou who watched my store and took care of business while I was away.
